Life Is a Popsicle: Gotta Wait 'Til The End

LIFE CAN BE TAKEN LIKE THE LAYERS OF A FRUIT POPSICLE. RASPBERRY, LEMON, AND STRAWBERRY ARE LIKE TODDLERHOOD, MIDDLE-AGE, AND THE GOLDEN YEARS. SOME PARTS ARE MORE DELICIOUS TO TAKE THAN OTHERS AND NOT EVERYONE EATS IT THE SAME.

IN THE END, WE’RE LEFT EITHER WITH A REFRESHING FRUITY FLAVOR MIX OR A STAINED STICK.

The first part starts off super sweet raspberry. Babies have a great life- strolled around town, fed, bathed, changed, doted on. Once it’s gone, it doesn’t come back.

The middle gets tart lemon. Reaching college and beyond, climbing the corporate or academic ladder teaches us lessons we didn't want to learn. But, it needs to be eaten through to get to the good part. Once it’s gone, it doesn’t come back.

The last is not too sweet or tart strawberry. Reflecting during our senior years brings a sense of calm. It is just sweet enough to enjoy and contemplate the end is near. Once it’s gone, it doesn’t come back.

Eat it just right and watch that it doesn’t melt too fast. Once it’s gone, it doesn’t come back.
