Editor’s Letter: Origins Issue

Dear Readers:

Nothing is new.

In the last issue, we focused on nostalgia. The 90’s, childhood purples, and movie remakes.

The Spring/Summer issue is centered on Origins. Both remembrance and originations allow us to move forward. We need to recognize where our customs, ideas and influences stem from. In doing that, we find a method to implement innovative strategies and avoid potential  negative effects of our endeavors and behaviors.

From youth anxiety to claims to our Moon and “authentic” workouts, it behooves us to inquire and learn where this all came from. What got us here? Did Michele Gondry really invent that encircled rhythmic choreography? Are we doing a Clara Bow to Taylor Swift?

Although nothing is new, there is improvement. The better we know the origins within subjects like art, fashion and science, the more of a chance we have to not get sucked into the mistakes and misunderstandings we often experience and witness. It might make the ride to Mars less bumpy.

Enjoy a these new seasons of Dosha Dressing, beauty and all the Tidbits The Magazine has awaiting your lovely brainwaves.

Sincerely,

AARTI KUVER, PHD
