Scientist vs $cientist

What is a $cientist about?

Taking it (your science) to the next level.

How?

By creating and innovating.

Who is a $cientist?

Nothing to do with money. Everything to do with value.

Science:

Merriam-Webster defines science (noun) as “a department of systematized knowledge as an object of study.”

Science encompasses music, art, fashion, business, writing, and of course the basic sciences such as biology, chemistry, physics, technology. It is not restricted to traditional laboratory space where experiments with reagents and beakers takes place. It is not being the creative director of an LVMH brand.

The Next Level:

Creating and innovating takes dedication, determination, and talent. Rigidness in thinking doesn’t cut it. Anyone can memorize facts in a book and get passing grades. Problem is, those are someone else’s discoveries. Books are just encyclopedias that are to be used as reference. To improve humanity, independent thought and creativity must be inherent. Understanding deeply and the curiosity to unravel what makes our Universe tick is what helps us move forward. It inspires throughout time.

So next time that thought enters the mind to go with the crowd, maybe take a step in the other direction. Value what individuality can bring to humanity. Unless boring is the road you’re more comfortable cruising.
