Lab $tyle: Summer Outfit 2.0

The Original $cientist T is made in NYC.

Summer 2020 is all about COVID-19, masks, and what are we supposed to do, where can we go. Hashtag Stay At Home definitely needs to stay in effect because Remdesivir costing over $3K is a no-go on re-opening plans. We still need to get dressed because we haven’t completely given up on 2020 yet. Well, if we have given up on the year, we certainly haven’t given up on ourselves. This summer is all about patterns taking us from the bedroom to the home office. Gussy yourself up for the Lab in Summer Outfit 2.0.

THIS SHOULD GET YOU THROUGH THE HOT LOCKDOWN SUMMER DAYS:

  1.  Sleeveless A-line cotton dress

  2. Knee-length linen skirt and an inspirational cotton Original $cientist T

  3. Mask

Colorful pieces mixed with fun patterns makes the home lab life fun, cool, and relaxed.

A pair of sandals pulls together the look and we don’t want our shoes to think we died. I added a pair of light leather boots for those that happen to be in lab because we all know sandals and Ethidum Bromide don’t mix. A fantabulous lightweight, bright cardigan keeps the AC from getting you too cold. Stepping outside for some Vitamin D needs a mask because getting and spreading COVID-19 sucks.

Summer Lab $tyle 2.0 is for $TEMmers who haven't given up. Clockwise from top L: Original $cientist T Limited Edition, Thomas Meir Cardigan, Marimekko Dress, Tom Ford Boots, Pierre Hardy Sandals, Marimekko Skirt. (Image: Dr. K)

It definitely is a bummer to not be able to head back to the office, but it’s a lot better than having permanent lung damage. Commuting from the bedroom to the living room should have the same mindset as the boardroom. Happy Summer $TEMmers!
