Ringing In 2025 In Lab Style: The Dosha Way

Popping non-EtOH bubbles and shining bright.

Oops, feeling a little dim because of X, Y and Z?

Look, there is no time to dwell on 11:59p 12/31/2024. And, you know what keeps humans going? Keeps us alive?

Hope.

We hope for a better tomorrow. One that does not reek of a hangover from that extra bottle of Dom or box of Ladurée. Also, we wish to finally make a mark on those goals set in January.

Why not do it looking good and connected to our personal energy.

Dosha Dressing for NYE is fringe, sequins and vibrance!

Single color palettes connect to leading doshic energy. Dresses were chosen from offerings on Bergdorf Goodman dot com.

The $cience

No doubt, dressing up adds cheeriness. Not only for the person who dresses up, but also for the people around us. A lot of people find it inspiring. Infectious, even. Is a Fashionable $cience droplet not preferable to an influenza infection?

This NYE, we take the Fall/Winter monochromatic looks out for a night on the town. Or maybe don our shiniest attire for a glitzy night in marathoning with Jacques Tati.

After all, personal energy, or doshic constitution, stimulates feelings of luxury.

PITTA IN FANCY FRINGE

Hardworking Pitta Bee needs to let loose for at least one night. Shown: Rachel Gilbert scalloped gown, Prada silk stilettos, Manolo pleated ballerinas, Manolo caged heels, Swarovski jewelry.

Like a glass of champagne she’s the bubbles of the party. A long dress with fringe in ivory pairs well with gold heels and a standout choker. A very merry Pitta option is to add red heels or flats. Don’t forget the nails in gold or red and a fat cocktail ring.

VATA PRETTY IN BLUE

Creative Vata winds up on the ladylike party circuit. Shown: Carolina Herrera silk dress, Roger Vivier slides, Swarovski jewelry.

She waltzes in like the belle of the Bell Ball. These blues add a royal feel to Vata’s night. Pairing options include perky kitten heels and twinkling accessories. Try a pink gem ring to play with softer colors.

KAPHA STEELS NYE IN METALLIC GUNMETAL

Kapha transforms into a statuesque extrovert from Old Hollywood. Just for one night. Shown: Retrofette twist dress, Jimmy Choo platforms, Valentino rockstud T-straps, Valentino crystal sandals, Swarovski jewelry.

Kapha is balancing her graphite nature to shine in the new year like a NYE ball drop. How stunning is this dress! Get stacked with glittery platforms or a variety of other silver heels. Add a dazzling choker and choose from an array of grays for your tips.

Tridoshic Festivities

EARTHY EMERALD GREEN

Someone wear this dress! Shown: Dries Van Noten gown, Valentino and Manolo heels, Swarovski jewelry.

Finding and holding ground with a modernly nostalgic Dries dress. This gorgeous draped backless gown cannot be passed up. Someone needs to wear this! Paired with silver heels, and a dazzling choker. Polish off the look with canary or emerald rings.

SPARKLING MAROON

No NYE is complete without sequence. This year is in beloved maroon. Shown: Mark Arian dress, Prada pumps, Swarovski ring.

A little sequins for stargazing. The dress is a standout needing little accessorizing other than spunky heels and a statement ring. Add a pair of black, maroon or red tights for an extra layer of warmth.

Shoes we saw on a brave outing to Saks’ 8th floor during the holidays. These are lovely options for the dresses in this article.
